Adani's wedding expenses surpass Ambani's salary.

Among the prominent wealthy businessmen in India are Adani and Ambani. Last year, Mukesh Ambani spent nearly ₹5,000 crore to organize a grand wedding for his younger son, Anant Ambani. Recently, in 2025, another wealthy businessman in the country, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, held the wedding of his younger son, Jeet Adani. During this time, Jeet Adani married Diva Sha. Unlike Ambani, Adani did not organize his son's wedding with extravagance. Not only did he keep the wedding simple, but he also announced a ₹10,000 crore donation. A major portion of this donation is planned to be spent on healthcare, education, and skill development.

It was revealed that the donation announced by Adani would focus on providing better hospitals and medical colleges for people from all sections of society. The funds will also be used to upgrade Global Skills Academies. Adani shared wedding photos related to his son's marriage on his Twitter account. However, Jeet Adani apologized for not inviting extended relatives to the wedding. He revealed that the ceremony took place in Ahmedabad, following traditional rituals, and was attended by close family members.

Before the wedding, the Adani Group launched the ‘Mangala Seva’ initiative. It was disclosed that financial assistance would be provided every year to 500 disabled women who marry. According to the information provided by the Adani Group, a financial aid of ₹10 lakh will be given every year to help these women begin a new life.
